TQM

Total Quality Management

JEA HydroTech Engineering, Inc. implements a Total Quality Management (TQM) approach that creates effective program and project management implementation schemes in order to maintain continuity throughout the Data Collection Phase, System Evaluation Phase and Implementation Phase & Construction Phase. The success of projects lies in implementing an effective planning approach that will lead to a cost-effective design and ultimately its construction. JEA HydroTech's TQM approach is a part of every aspect of every project.

For any project to be considered a success, the work must be completed on schedule and within budget. Our professional project design team, in order to maintain and manage internal tasks, effectively communicate, and ensure Quality Assurance/Quality Control, implements the following:

      • A project guide is developed that outlines the project scope to include: a list of project contacts; budget and schedule information; deliverables; design and CAD standards which all will be updated as needed throughout the project.
      • Design Team meetings will be held weekly (more often as needed) to identify current and upcoming tasks; budget reviews; schedule and resource needs.
      • The Project Manager will use Microsoft Project, Outlook and other relevant software to manage workloads; communicate with appropriate client representatives; and maintain project schedules and budgets.
      • To efficiently prepare project documents, our staff is equipped with the most current computer hardware and software. JEA HydroTech is committed to applying the most current technological advancements available in its performance of project work.
